Happy Halloween and Filipino Heritage Month
Spooktacular Week Ahead at Lincoln!
Lincoln Families,
October is Filipino American History Month, a time to honor the rich heritage, culture, and many contributions of the Filipino community to our nation’s story. At Lincoln, we take pride in celebrating the diversity that strengthens our school and the spirit of bayanihan—community and unity—that our students and families bring every day.
As we close out the month, we’re also looking forward to celebrating Halloween this Friday! Students and staff are encouraged to join in the fun by wearing school-appropriate costumes—please remember that our dress code still applies (no masks covering the full face, no weapons or replica weapons, and no costumes that may be unsafe or inappropriate for school).
We can’t wait to see the creativity and excitement on campus! Thank you, Lincoln Lions, for continuing to make our school a place where every culture is celebrated and every student belongs.

We will be hosting a Town Hall meeting on Wednesday, October 29th at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium to discuss the new SMMUSD Electronic Device Policy and our upcoming Yondr implementation. This will be a great opportunity to learn more about the policy, ask questions, and hear how it will support student engagement and learning on campus.

Thank you for your continued partnership in creating a focused and connected learning environment for all students!
Bike it Walk it
Congratulations 6th Graders!
A huge thank you to all the families who encouraged your children to participate in Bike It, Walk It! We had an incredible turnout and loved seeing so many students choosing active and sustainable ways to get to school.
This year, we added a little friendly competition between grade levels—and our 6th graders came out on top with the most participation! As a reward, they’ll be receiving a free shaved ice this Thursday at lunch.
Thank you, Lincoln Lions, for showing your ROAR and helping make our community a little healthier and greener!
