KMS WEEKLY UPDATE

MORE ABOUT OUR NEW LEARNING LAB MORE ABOUT OUR NEW LEARNING LAB

Dear Families,

As previously mentioned, the Learning Lab is an opportunity for students with failing grade(s) due to missing assignments to receive extra support to bring their grade(s) back up to passing.

Students can attend the Learning Lab instead of their elective until they complete the required work to restore their grade to passing. At this point, students will return to their scheduled elective class.

Before enrollment in the Learning Lab, families will be notified by their student’s teacher. Please notify the school counselors or front office (907-486-7460) if you would like your student to have access to the Learning Lab before receiving a call.

GRIZZLY TICKET WINNERS GRIZZLY TICKET WINNERS

During the course of the school day, teachers and staff like to recognize students who are caught exhibiting the KMS values of Respect, Integrity, Citizenship, and Kindness. We do this by giving out Grizzly Tickets. Every Grizzly Ticket goes into a bucket and from that bucket, we draw two winners per grade. The winners get to sit on the stage with up to 7 of their friends for the rest of the week!
