Dear Choir Family,

What a fantastic week we've had! We’ve officially finished voicing all singers, and we’re thrilled to start diving into our Fall Concert music. The energy and talent in the room are already setting us up for a great season!

📌 A Few Important Announcements:

1. Choir Handbook, Forms & Fees – Past Due
All choir handbook forms and fees were due Thursday, August 22. If you haven’t completed this step yet, please log into PRESTO as soon as possible to fill out all required forms and submit payment.

• New choir parents/guardians: Look for the welcome email sent via PRESTO.

• Returning families: Your PRESTO login from last year should still work.

2. TMEA All-State & 9/10 Honor Choir Auditions – Sign-Up Now Open!
Interested in auditioning? Please complete the Google Form linked below under "upcoming events" to register.

🗣️ Singers must complete the form themselves to avoid duplicate submissions.

3. Morning Rehearsals Begin This Week
Morning rehearsals for Combined Varsity Treble and Select Tenor-Bass choirs will begin this Wednesday or Thursday. Check the detailed schedule below to know your rehearsal day and time.

4. If you missed our Mandatory Parent/Guardian meeting, please see below "Highlights and Past Celebration" for recorded meeting and presendation.

Please be sure to mark ALL concert dates for the school year! You can also click the link below to view Choir Calendar. Be sure to subscribe! :)

Please come during YOUR choir block time. If you have a school related conflict and can't attend the dedicated time, please contact the directors. Our seamstress will be on site to mark uniform for alterations. (included in the choir fee).

9-10:15am - CHS9 Treble

10:15-11:30am - Chorale/Kantorei

11:30-12:45pm - A Cappella

12:45-2pm - CHS9/CHS Tenor-Bass

If you would like to become a choir sponsor or would like to gain more information regarding becoming a choir sponsor, please click on the line below for more information.

Parents have to opt in for health-related services as mandated by law. The clinic will not be able help them if this is not complete. If possible, please share this link with students and parents. Parents are asked to complete a separate consent form for each student enrolled in CISD. The form is also linked on the CHS Website under Health Services Consent form.
