Wiggin Street Parent Update

Better Together and Reaching for the Stars!
Dear Wiggin Street Families,
Thank you to all that were able to donate non-perishable food and/or money to the Food for the Hungry. The funds and food will be picked up on Monday, and we will announce the winning class at that time. As in the past, the classroom in each participating school that contributes the highest number of food items per student will be treated to a pizza party sponsored by Psi Iota Xi. The top donor from each school will be honored in the Food For The Hungry broadcast at the Knox County Memorial Building on Friday, Dec. 12. The students will be recognized on our live video stream at www.mvnu.tv, as well as on 100.9 FM and 13WMVO, with reports given on WNZR and 93.7 the Super Q.
To learn more about FFTH, donate, or find photos, videos, and more, visit www.FoodForTheHungryCares.org. To volunteer with FFTH, call or text Kathy Brechler at 740-398-2408. The 2025 FFTH Live Broadcast will take place on Friday, Dec. 12 at the Memorial Theater inside the Knox Memorial. This is a Knox County tradition you won’t want to miss!
We are thankful for the ongoing support from our school community. We are Better Together! From our school family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving!
Warm regards,
Christy Grandstaff

Thankful for Teachers Event
Xtreme Air, LLC, a local HVAC company, graciously collaborated with Knox Foodies, LLC to cover the costs of bringing food trucks to schools again this year. This Tuesday, we had a Thankful for Teachers Event, and Sunny Sips prepared coffee/hot cocoa/smoothies offered for all school staff. The food truck was outside along the pick up/drop off sidewalk in the front of the school. Thank you to all parents dropping off for being flexible. This was a special treat, and we are so thankful!

Wellness Wednesday
This week, the Kenyon Golf Teams played Sharks and Minnows with students. We wish the best for our Kenyon students traveling over the holidays. Wednesday Morning Fitness will start back on December 3rd with Bryn Carrigan, Kenyon College Senior, returning with Yoga.
Lost and Found
It's that time of year! Please remind your child to look at the Lost in Found that is in the hallway leading to the cafeteria for their lost items. Thanks for your help!
