A reminder that there will be two changes in the weekly routine.
- SCHEDULE - MONDAY, APRIL 29th - Late Start Even Day
- SCHOOL WILL BE CLOSED ON FRIDAY MAY 3rd
Dear Monsoon Community,
As we navigate through the end of April and into May, I want to take a moment to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you. Your dedication and hard work during the state testing period have not gone unnoticed. Your commitment to ensuring our students have the best possible environment to showcase their knowledge is truly inspiring.
To all our students currently preparing for the AP exams, I wish you the very best of success. Your diligence and determination throughout the year have brought you to this moment, and I have every confidence in your abilities to excel. Remember, your hard work will undoubtedly pay off, so stay focused and believe in yourselves.
As we approach the end of the school year, our attention naturally turns to celebrating milestones. For our eighth graders, this is a time of promotion, marking the transition to new beginnings. And for the class of 2024, commencement symbolizes the culmination of years of growth, learning, and unforgettable memories.
Let's continue to support one another as we finish this academic year strong. Parents, your encouragement and support are invaluable in nurturing our students' academic endeavors. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to our dedicated teachers. They are here to support both you and your child every step of the way.
Together, let's embrace these final weeks with enthusiasm and determination. Let's celebrate the achievements of our students and inspire them to reach even greater heights in the future. Thank you for your unwavering commitment to our Monsoon community.
We look to send out The Forecast more frequently as we close out the year. Please look for an update next Sunday!
Sincerely,
Sean. R. Diaz

RECOGNITION ASSEMBLY - APRIL 19th
UPDATE ON PLANNED FIELD RENNOVATIONS
Dear Monsoon Community,
We are excited to share with you the latest developments regarding the upcoming field renovations project. While our DSA review dates have been extended due to additional requests for a visitors side bleacher as well as press box, our architects are still projecting a project close out of late summer 2025. We are moving forward with all necessary preparations and planning to ensure that each aspect of our athletic programs, physical education classes, and the Monsoon Marching Corps continue to excel during construction.
Here are some key updates:
- Preparations in Full Swing: Our team is diligently working behind the scenes with site and district staff to ensure that all logistical aspects of the renovation project are in place.
- Maintaining Excellence: Despite the upcoming renovations, our commitment to excellence remains unwavering. We are implementing strategic measures to ensure that our athletes, students, and performers have access to alternative facilities and resources to continue their training and activities without interruption.
- Communication: We understand the importance of keeping the Monsoon Community informed and will provide updates via email, social media, and other communication channels as they come about.
Thank you for your ongoing support as we look forward to this amazing transformation.
