Dear Bellerive Families,

We had a fantastic turnout for this afternoon's Dog Man movie private viewing. A huge thank you to Mrs. Biehl for being the inspiration behind this PTO event and for going the extra mile by dressing up as Dog Man to greet students and families! I greatly appreciate PTO's sponsorship of this event and everyone who participated. We have such a great community at Bellerive!

Donate canned goods and other non-perishable food items from Monday, January 27 to Friday, February 7, 2025. Donate $0.50+ or a can(s) of food to earn the option to dress up as a Super Hero on February 7. There's also a fun competition between Grades K,2,4, and Grades 1,3,5. All donated items benefit Parkway's Food Pantry. Please see the video above and flyer below for more information! This food drive is sponsored by Bellerive's 5th grade leaders.

Join us for Parkway’s third annual State of the District event! You will have the opportunity to meet and hear from our next superintendent, Dr. Melissa Schneider. We’ll showcase student performances and dive into the progress we’re making on our Strategic Plan through engaging sessions with district leaders.

In keeping with Bellerive’s tradition, in lieu of a Valentine’s Day party, we are having a Day of Service where we will work to spread kindness. In addition to the normal Early Release Day activities, students will choose from various activities to spread kindness and cheer to others at our school and in our community.

Students may bring Valentines ONLY from home to pass out.

• NO FOOD or CANDY will be accepted. (If food is brought in, it will be sent back home.)
• Valentines must be made for each child in the classroom.

1st and 2nd grade families! Please make plans to join us on Thursday, February 20th for Bellerive's annual Black History Month concert. Students will meet in the cafeteria at 6:45 pm, and we will perform at 7:00 pm in the gym. We hope to see everyone there!

Bellerive Clubs end in February. Step Team continues but will shift to a different day of the week so it does not conflict with Girls on the Run!

Each year Bellerive students participate in the Kids Heart Challenge in PE. This year, all donations will be collected online. Click here for the direct link!

Dream Grants are awarded in amounts of up to $250 each and help students access personal learning opportunities outside of school. Some grants are non-monetary and connect students with professionals who offer amazing shadowing experiences in the workplace.

Since beginning the program, the Parkway Alumni Association has awarded over $400,000 in Dream Grants, along with many other valuable resources to Parkway K-12 students. These grants often provide students with opportunities they may not have had without the financial support and connections from the PAA.
