STAAR testing begins next week. On days when your child is taking the STAAR test, you will not be able to eat lunch with them. I have listed the testing dates below as well as changes that will effect 5th grade lunch on April 16 and April 30.
Lunch Time Changes for April 16 and April 30:
5th grade will eat lunch from 11:35-12:05 on these two days
3rd grade will eat lunch from 12:45-1:15 on these two days. However, since students are testing on these days, please plan not to eat lunch with your 3rd grader on these days.
STAAR Testing Dates:
- April 15 -- 5th grade RLA
- April 16 -- 3rd and 4th grade RLA
- April 22 -- 5th grade Science
- April 29 -- 5th grade Math
- April 30 -- 3rd and 4th grade Math
We also will not be able to have volunteers upstairs on STAAR testing days. We can still have visitors and volunteers downstairs, as long as it is not in a grade level that is testing that day. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility.

Dear PfISD Families,
To support a smooth transition into the next school year, current students will be automatically enrolled in Pflugerville ISD for 2025-2026. Students will be assigned to the same campus or the appropriate zoned campus for those students entering 6th or 9th grade. However, we kindly ask families to complete this form to help us accurately plan for staffing, resources, and class sizes.
Transfer Information
- Intra-District Transfers: These remain valid until a student completes the highest grade offered at their current campus. If your student wishes to attend a non-zoned campus for 6th or 9th grade, a transfer form must be submitted.
- Out-of-District (OOD) Transfers: Must be renewed each year. OOD students are temporarily enrolled pending the approval of their transfer application. Any OOD student without an approved transfer application will be withdrawn from our system by Friday, August 8, 2025.
Additional Information
- Annual forms, including the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) meal application and Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) campus forms, will be available in July.

Come learn a dance with the Hendrickson High School Silver Dancer on May 3rd. Your child will learn a choreographed routine and have some fun with the Silver Dancers. Then dance that evening on stage with the Silver Dancers.

Yearbooks for 2024-2025 are on sale now! You can purchase via balfour.com. Flyers have been sent home with students and more will be sent home after Spring Break. We also need parents to submit pictures via the ImageShare app. Please see the flyer below for instructions.
Please note, this is a summer yearbook, meaning it will not be done for students to take home at the end of the year. If you order a yearbook for your child, they will receive it when they return to school in August 2025.
