Mrs. Paola ~ Learning Fun in the Library!
It’s been a busy and exciting fall in the library! We’ve been diving into fun picture books to learn all about character traits and story elements—and enjoying some great fall stories that celebrate the changing seasons. Our Book Fair was a huge success last week! A big thank-you to all the families who stopped by to shop and join the fun. And a special shout-out to our kindergarteners, who learned how to check out books for the very first time—such a big milestone!Ms. Vance - Soaring High in Second Grade
🍂 Second Grade Fall Fun Update! 🍂
In second grade, we practice being kind and respectful every single day—because great friends make school even better! We work hard on our reading, writing, and math skills, and we’re learning that everyone is a math doer—mistakes are just part of the learning adventure!
Our favorite part of the reading routine is Otter Time—Our Time to Enjoy Reading! 🦦📚 The kids love diving into books and exploring new stories.
After some hands-on research, we even wrote our own informative booklets about frogs! 🐸
It’s been a wonderful fall with this amazing bunch of second graders, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings!
The PTO is passionate about connecting parents, guardians, and grandparents
