CHS AVID Message
Hi Day Families!
My name is Jordan Kennedy and I am the AVID Coordinator at CHS. On Friday, I presented to your eighth graders about our AVID Program. AVID stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination. Our goal is to help students close the achievement gap and make sure students are prepared for college and career. I have attached our brochure as well as our application. Please note that your child must fill out the application from their TVUSD email account, you cannot fill it out for them. There are limited spots available, so if your student is interested in the AVID program, please make sure they apply. Applications are due by Friday, February 13, 2026.
