Wrapping Up Quarter 1: Celebrate, Reflect, and Soar!
As we wrap up our first quarter, there is so much to celebrate and always room to grow! Recently, our students spent time setting goals and thinking about their progress. The end of the quarter is a great opportunity to continue those conversations at home. Ask your student about their highlights from the past nine weeks, what they are proud of, and what they would like to work toward in the next quarter. Growth comes from recognizing our successes while being honest about where we can improve. Together, we can help our students turn those reflections into meaningful next steps!
A few important reminders as we head into next week:
Explore Classes: Students who participate in Explore classes will begin a new class on Monday. Please take a moment to log in to Synergy through ParentVUE or StudentVUE to review your student’s updated schedule.
Quarter 1 Grades: Final grades will be posted in Synergy on Friday, October 23. As always, you can check live grades in the app at any time to stay up to date on your student’s progress.
As we look ahead to Quarter 2, let’s celebrate how far our students have come, recognize the opportunities that lie ahead, and keep working together to help every RedHawk reach their potential. Together, we soar!

Outside Food Practice
During the school day:
No outside drinks (Starbucks, Dunkin’, energy drinks, etc..) should be brought in during the morning. Students are welcome, and strongly encouraged, to bring water. We have bottle filling stations throughout the building for convenient refills.
Students will be directed to finish all non-water beverages before entering the building.
Parents are welcome to drop off lunch only for their own child - not a group.
Parent deliveries should be brought to the main office.
Food and beverages may only be provided for your individual student. Ex: a pizza cannot be purchased for a group of students.
Students are not permitted to use apps to have food delivered to the school.
The main office WILL NOT accept or sign for delivered lunches for students.
If there is an emergency situation and you need to send something for your student, please get in touch with the main office with details so they don't turn away the delivery driver. 331-228-3700
Viewing Accurate Grades
⏰Don't forget - Synergy ParentVue is where accurate grades are communicated - not Schoology!
⏰Teachers will update grades weekly in Synergy. For you, this is viewable through ParentVue.
⏰This year we have moved to an A, B, C, D, F grading system without pluses or minuses, aligning our practices with the high school.

CTE Presents: THE LITTLE MERMAID JR.
Grades 2 – 9
Journey “under the sea” with Ariel and her aquatic friends in Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR., adapted from Disney’s Broadway production and the motion picture (featuring the enormously popular Academy Award-winning music and delightfully charming book and lyrics). Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen’s most beloved stories, Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR. is an enchanting look at the sacrifices we all make for love and acceptance.
In a magical underwater kingdom, the beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home — and her fins — behind and live in the world above. But first, she’ll have to defy her father, King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, and convince the handsome Prince Eric that she’s the girl whose enchanting voice he’s been seeking.
Written to flow seamlessly between land and sea, Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR. provides plenty of opportunities to bring these locations to life through creative movement and configurations. The fantasy of being underwater means your entire cast and crew can let their imaginations run wild.
