Parking and Driving Safety

Parking is only allowed on one side of the street on Seiler, De Lasalle, and Wedgewood. In order to allow emergency vehicles and for the safety of our pedestrians, do not park on both sides of the street and do not block driveways of our neighbors. Please review these parking guidelines.

We have many walkers, please drive carefully through our neighborhood at all times, but especially during arrival and dismissal.

Elementary Early Release Days

This school year, elementary students will participate in scheduled early release days, with dismissal at 1:00 PM on September 24, 2026, December 15, 2026, and February 4, 2027. This dedicated time allows elementary teaching teams to analyze student assessment data and collaboratively plan targeted instruction to support every child's academic growth.

On-site childcare will be available during early release afternoons through our community partnerships with Y Safe 'N Sound and Right at School. Families can sign up for just the early release dates. They do not have to be a regular attendees. Please see this Flyer for how to register and contact information for YMCA.

Early Dismissal and/or Late Arrival Procedures

If you are aware of an upcoming early dismissal for your student, please email your child's classroom teacher directly and let them know the date/time of the schedule change. The classroom teacher will alert the office of the dismissal so they can add the student to their daily list.

The PTA's success as an organization depends on parent, teacher, and community involvement. As the PTA Membership Drive continues, we’re highlighting some of the exciting ways the organization recently supported the school and our students. For example, funds raised during the 2025-26 school year helped purchase acoustic sound absorbing panels for our music room and new tables for the art room. Please join us to help support new opportunities for our Huskies and become a Spring Brook PTA member this year!
