Message from Principal Grebb:

The first quarter of the year has officially concluded, and the second nine weeks begins this Monday. For those new to high school, it’s important to know that the first and second nine weeks are combined to create a semester average. Additionally, students will take a mid-term in December, which accounts for 10% of the overall 90% grade.

This semester average is crucial as it affects both your GPA and credit eligibility. Remember, any grade below 70 will not earn credit. Attendance is equally vital; if a student fails to meet attendance requirements, they risk losing credit even with a passing grade.

Every day matters, and putting forth your best effort truly makes a difference. Have a great weekend!

The Anonymous Alerts is an anti-bullying and safety app reporting system that helps combat bullying and other negative activity in schools by empowering students to speak up. Social and peer pressure are some of the hardest obstacles for students to overcome. Students or parents can submit reports such as bullying, cyber bullying, depression, dating violence, drug or alcohol use, threats against the school, weapons on campus, and more.

The system allows for 1-way or 2-way anonymous encrypted communications between the submitters (students, parents, or community members) and District administration and/or school staff. Users of the system have the option to remain anonymous or reveal their identity when submitting a report.
