Fourth Grade 2025-2026

Our Learning
Math Unit 5: Data Analysis
Ask your child what the difference is between an improper fraction and a mixed number!
Science Unit 5 Guide: Sun, Moon, and Earth Systems
In this unit, students will learn that….
a season is a time of year with a distinct pattern of temperature and daily sunlight.
Earth's axis is an imaginary line from the North Pole to the South Pole through the center of Earth.
the seasons show up differently in different parts of the world, but there are still seasonal distinctions. Places closest to the equator will experience a less drastic shift in seasons.
Moon phases are how the moon appears to change shape based on how much of its lit surface we can observe from Earth.
Also~ The students have MOON HW every night for the month of January. They have started it and it should be in their Nicky Folder. Right now the moon is visible on the way to school so remind them to take a peek at the sky :-)
Ask your child what phase the moon is in now.
