At Willow Creek, our top priority is creating a secure environment where students and staff can focus entirely on learning. To ensure we are following the best safety and instructional protocols, we are updating our office access and our checkout processes, effective 2/9/26...
1. Office Access: The inner office will remain a restricted zone. When you arrive, please remain in the designated lobby area. Our team will assist you via the front desk microphone system. We have a table available for items that need to be delivered to students; please write your child's name on a sticky note and place it on top of the item to ensure proper delivery. If you are arriving for an IEP meeting, please wait in the lobby area and a staff member will admit you into the school for the meeting. While this adds a layer of physical separation for the safety of our staff and students, our commitment to serving your family remains as strong as ever.
2. Student Checkout Process To minimize instructional disruptions and keep students engaged in their lessons for as long as possible, the front office will not call students down in advance of a parent's arrival.
How it works: Once you arrive at the building and sign your student out, we will promptly page them to the office.
Planning ahead: Please allow an extra 10 minutes in your schedule to account for the transition time from the classroom to the front door.
