AVA Family Update
September 27, 2024
Good afternnon AVA Students and Families,
In addition to the usual schedule, guidance and community updates, and important dates section of this week's newsletter, I have two items of note:
1. I am conducting a review of all student work to date today and Monday. If I'm concerned about anything, you will hear from me individually early next week.
2. Ms. Ng's guidance update below is vital information for seniors and their families, and important for everyone else in terms of Naviance opportunities.
Thank you for your time.

Guidance Updates
Naviance
Attleboro Public Schools provides its high school students with access to Naviance - a no-cost, ad-free online College and Career search tool. It is a great resource to utilize throughout high school, whether to take surveys to figure out possible career paths based on personal interests or looking up best-match colleges based on GPA and such. AVA Seniors: your current GPA is now also updated and available to view in your Naviance account.
Students new to APS for SY24-25: please check your attleborops.net email for a Naviance password reset that was sent earlier this week. Direct transfer students from AHS do not need to complete this step. Any student may still email Ms Nellie (below) anytime if you forget your Naviance password. Below are login instructions and recommended Naviance activities based on grade level.

AHS College Fair - Last call
Final reminder! The AHS College Fair is next Monday, Sept. 30th, on campus from about 8:30am to 10am. All AVA juniors and seniors are strongly encouraged to come check out and speak to representatives from colleges, employers, and the military. Forming these connections can be what makes all the difference! Click HERE for the latest list of attendees.
As always, please feel free to email me (nng@attleboroschools.com) with any questions, comments, or concerns. Have a safe and dry weekend!
