A message from the Principal

Dear Sublimity School Families,

As we approach Thanksgiving, our school is embracing the principle of gratitude. This month, we are focusing on cultivating an attitude of thankfulness in our classrooms, hallways, and community. Gratitude helps us recognize the good in our lives and strengthens our connections with others, a perfect compliment to our school theme of belonging. From student projects highlighting acts of kindness to gratitude-focused lessons and activities, we are weaving this important value into our daily interactions. We encourage you to join us by sharing moments of gratitude at home and celebrating the many things, big and small, that bring us joy. Thank you for your role in making our school an amazing place, and together, let’s make this a month of true appreciation for the good people in our lives!

4th Grade- Bromley

In this 4th grade Mystery Science lesson, students developed a working model of a human eye. They used a magnifying lens as a model of the cornea to explore how the structure of this lens is related to the function of our eyes. Super cool!

2nd Grade- Weaver

Students had a fantastic time playing "Best Friends of 10 Bump," a fun and engaging math game designed to strengthen their understanding of number pairs that add up to 10. As they rolled dice and placed markers on the board, they practiced identifying combinations like 7 and 3 or 6 and 4, building both speed and accuracy in their mental math skills. The friendly competition kept them energized and focused, while the collaborative nature of the game encouraged them to cheer each other on and strategize. It was a great way to reinforce foundational math concepts in an exciting and interactive way!

What are you thankful for?
