A Note from Mrs. Mitchell...

I would like to wish all the Gregory families the most wonderful summer! If you're returning in the fall, we look forward to seeing you again. If you have moved on to a new chapter, we wish you the best, and you will be missed. This time of year always gets me pretty misty eyed because I start bursting with gratitude for this amazing community. I'm so grateful to all of the students and parents who have been generously supportive of Gregory. It takes a tight, committed community to do the kind of work we do, and we consider you a part of our team and family.

To our 8th graders, I meant it when I said that you are a special group. There's truly no limit to what you are capable of. Therefore, promise me that you won't let fear win. Instead, overcome it. Then come back and tell me that you made the team, nailed the audition, sank the impossible shot, received the job offer, met somebody new, sang the solo, and gave the speech.

You are loved!

2024 Retirees

I would like to extend a heartfelt farewell to three Gregory Middle School legends: Kerry Crowe, Nancy Voegtle, and Kevin Reagan. These forever Pioneers have made a lasting impression on our school community through their roles as teachers, coaches, athletic director, colleagues, and friends. Returning to school in August will simply not be the same without them, and we will feel their absence. Gregory is grateful for their many dedicated years of service, and we wish them all the best in their retirement.

Parent Information

Planning for 2024-2025 Athletics

If your child is planning on participating in a sport in the fall, now is a great time to schedule a sports physical! This is typically something that gets procrastinated, and then parents are left stressed and scrambling to get it done at the last minute. Students will not be able to try out or practice until an updated sports physical has been submitted to the nurse's office.

Additionally, it's important to know that many of our sports have a rule concerning the wearing of jewelry during competitions. Any ear or nose piercings must be removable by the time your child's sport begins in the fall or winter. Keep this in mind as you consider new choices this summer.
