What a great time to be a Trail Blazer! It bears repeating that our students here at Lebanon Trail High School are incredible. Just in case you need some reminders, see below. This weekend alone, we celebrated student success in NJROTC, Debate, Swim, Dive, Band, Theater, AcDec and a whole plethora of other activities no one has told us about yet.

We are so proud of our students and how they continue to serve as ambassadors to our programs, clubs and athletics. Last night we welcomed the class of 2029 and our students and staff did a phenomenal job of helping expose them to ‘life on the Trail”.

2025-26 New Student and Kinder Registration

Families moving to Frisco ISD, registering incoming kindergartners or re-enrolling former students can start enrolling for the 2025-26 school year on Tuesday, Feb. 11. on the 2025-26 New Enrollment webpage.

Parents of current students, including those enrolled in the FISD prekindergarten program, will receive invitation emails to register for the 2025-26 school year in April. Also starting in April, Frisco ISD will begin registering qualifying 4-year-olds for pre-K.

Families new to Frisco ISD who register their student between Feb. 17-28 are eligible to apply for a campus transfer at friscoisd.org/transfer. Each year, elementary and middle school students may request a transfer to another Frisco ISD campus, provided it is not closed or at capacity.

Cold & Rainy Season Ahead

Due to following school safety practices and student supervision requirements, we are unable to allow students who arrive at school earlier than 8:20 into the building. As it continues to get colder, consider adjusting your student’s arrival time to align closer to 8:20 entry time and encourage your students to dress appropriately for the weather to protect themselves from the elements.

Student Extended Absences (vacation or otherwise)

FISD policy does NOT permit students to 'work ahead' or to get missed work from teachers prior to the planned absences. Students who remain enrolled, will receive the grade earned; a zero for the remaining grades will be assigned and upon return the student can work with teachers to get missing work submitted within a reasonable time frame and teachers can then submit a grade change form if applicable. It is the student’s responsibility to meet with the teacher and turn in missing work or make up missed assessments upon return to campus.

Students who are considered truant (will have accrued more than ten unexcused absences for days or parts of days within a six-month period including the days that will be missed at the end of the year) will be subject to truancy prevention measures and the possibility of being referred to truancy court.

Students who fall below 75 % attendance in any course will be denied credit.
