A Message from our Dean of Students, Ms. Nicole Kfoury

Dear St. Mary of the Assumption S.T.A.R.S. families,

As the summer weather fades and autumn approaches, we find ourselves in a season of change. The air has turned crisp, the leaves will begin to fall, and here at St. Mary’s our students are settling deeply into their routines. While the seasons shift, one thing remains constant: your children are supported, encouraged, and loved every day at St. Mary’s.

This past week, most students completed their MAP baseline assessments, giving us valuable insight into where they are starting this school year and how best to guide their growth. Just as the fall reminds us of steady cycles and renewal, these benchmarks remind us of the opportunities ahead for each student’s academic and personal success.

As always, the partnership between school and home is essential. We ask you to help us continue nurturing our S.T.A.R.S. values—Service, Truth, Academic Excellence, Respect, and Spiritual Growth—inside the classroom, and outside the classroom as well. Simple daily actions make a big difference: asking your child about their day and truly listening, supporting uniform standards, ensuring students arrive on time, and encouraging them to live our values in your home and community.

Together, we create the environment that allows our students to thrive, not just at school, but in every aspect of their lives. Thank you for walking alongside us in this journey!
