Keefe Regional Technical School
September 3rd, 2026
Dear Keefe Tech Community,
Welcome back! It is great to have our students and staff back on campus and to officially begin another school year. There is always a lot of excitement that comes with the start of a new year, and we are looking forward to all of the opportunities ahead for our students.
Our faculty and staff have been busy preparing for the year, and I want to thank them for everything they have done to make sure our students have a successful start. We are also excited to welcome several new faculty and staff members to Keefe Tech and look forward to all they will bring to our school community.
I want to offer a very special welcome to the Class of 2030 to Keefe Tech, along with our returning students as they continue their academic and career and technical education. Whether students are just beginning their time with us or preparing for what comes after graduation, we look forward to supporting them throughout the year.
Thank you to our students, families, faculty and staff for all you do to make Keefe Tech a great place to learn and grow. I look forward to another successful year together.
Sincerely,
Jon Evans
Dear KT Community:
We are having a great start to the year at Keefe Tech! Students in grades 10 & 11 have already had their class meetings, and grade 9 & 12 students will meet in the coming weeks. Next Friday is our activities fair, and next week our grade 9 students have their first week of exploratory! There are a lot of exciting things happening!
It is very important to have a PowerSchool account. We do not print and mail progress reports and reports cards, instead, they will be available to view in PowerSchool. A PowerSchool account allows you to monitor your students grades, attendance and progress in classes. All new families received an email with a unique access code to set up an account. If you have any questions or if you need these emails resent, please email Daniel Fothergill for assistance: powerschool@jpkeefehs.org. If your address or email changes during the school year, please let us know so we have updated contact information.
As we get back into the swing of the school year, a reminder about attendance: students are permitted 14 total absences per year; this number includes both excused and unexcused absences. The attendance policy is reviewed with all students during class meetings, and I encourage all families to review the student handbook, available on the Keefe Tech website, to understand the attendance expectations.
I want to remind all students and families that they are part of the Keefe Tech community. Please feel free to contact us if you have a question, suggestion, or if we can be of any assistance. I look forward to meeting and working with you this year!

Kicking Off the School Year!
Keefe Tech officially kicked off the 2026–2027 school year this Monday! We’re excited to have our Broncos back and look forward to all that the new school year will bring!
Welcome, Class of 2030!
On August 27, Keefe Tech welcomed the Class of 2030 for Step Up Day, giving incoming freshmen a chance to explore their new school, meet classmates and get to know the Keefe Tech community.
Peer mentors led groups, answered questions and helped students feel comfortable as they prepared to begin their first year at KT. We’re excited to welcome our newest Broncos!
