Flex/Async Model
Understanding your learning Path at INGDA/INGAS
Indiana Gateway Digital Academy is by nature a flex model program. We understand some students and families want even more flexiblilty and that is where our “Flex/Async” option comes in.
Students are required to meet certain criteria before moving into the “Flex/Async” model. We want to ensure your student’s success at Indiana Gateway.
Your student’s homeroom teacher or school counselor will be sending out more information after orientation.
INGDA Attendance For ALL students
We are a public online school funded by the State of Indiana. We must follow all the same guidelines set forth by the Indiana Department of Education as other in person public schools.
All Students Are Required to:
Log in Daily
Students must log into their student account at some point during the day.
This could be anytime between 12:01AM and 11:59PM
Work within their account
Doing “work” can be either: attending a live class connect session , or working on online assignments
Complete required assessments
Every student is required to complete required placement assessments such as: STAR 360 or IReady or Ilearn checkpoints.
Attend in Person State Testing
Because we are a Public School we are required to provide State Testing Assessments in person. Such as: IREAD, ILEARN, PSAT and SAT.
