Dear Fairfax Families,

Being on time is one of the easiest ways families can support student achievement.

📚 Tiger Literacy: 9:00 AM Means Learning Begins!

Our Tiger Literacy Block is an important part of the school day. From 9:00–9:30 AM, students have protected, uninterrupted time to read, practice literacy skills and grow as readers. This time matters! When students arrive late, they miss valuable instruction that cannot always be made up later. Even a few minutes each day can add up to a significant amount of missed learning.

🐯 We're Better When We're Here Together at 8:45 AM!

Arriving by 8:45 AM gives students time to enter the building, unpack, get settled and be ready to learn when the Tiger Literacy Block begins.

🍎 FREE Breakfast Begins at 8:20 AM!

Fairfax students can enjoy FREE breakfast every school day starting at 8:20 AM. Staff supervision is also available during breakfast time. Students should enter through the doors off the playground for breakfast.

📝 Parent Annual Updates: 87% Complete!

We are excited to share that 87% of Fairfax families have completed their Parent Annual Update (PAU)! 🎉

Thank you to everyone who has already completed this important information. We now have approximately 40 families remaining. The Parent Annual Update helps ensure that we have the most current information for your child and family. We need every family to complete this process.

If you have not completed your PAU, please do so as soon as possible. Our goal is to reach 100% completion!
