Mid-November 2025 Newsletter
Principal's Message
Dear Allenwood Families,
As we continue into the month of November, a month dedicated to gratitude, I want to take a moment to express how thankful I am for the Allenwood School community. The incredible support our students receive from families and staff truly sets them up for future success.
This month also offers a great opportunity for parents and guardians to stay informed about their children’s progress so far this school year. One way to do this is through your child’s report card, which will be available to parents in Genesis on November 18th. Another way is to view your child's iReady score report, which can be found in the Genesis parent portal.
On November 19th, Allenwood’s kindergarten students will celebrate Friendsgiving at 3:45 p.m. This special event is a wonderful way for our young Dragons to celebrate the new friendships they have made so far at Allenwood.
Another important way for parents to stay connected is by participating in Parent/Teacher Conferences. Afternoon conferences will be held on November 20th, 21st, and 25th, and evening conferences will take place on November 24th. Please note that all conference days will be half days, with student dismissal at 1:05 p.m.
As the Wall Township School District continues its search for a new superintendent, I encourage families to scroll down in this newsletter to complete the Superintendent Search Survey. Parents and guardians are also invited to attend the Superintendent Open Forum at Wall Intermediate School on November 25th at 7:00 p.m.
As we head into the Thanksgiving holiday, please note that November 26th will be a half day with dismissal at 1:05 p.m. Our Thanksgiving Break will be observed on November 27th and 28th.
Enjoy the holiday season with your friends and loved ones!
Sincerely,
James Sterenczak
Principal
Wall Township 175th Anniversary Apparel
This year, as we celebrate Wall Township's 175th Anniversary alongside America’s 250th, we are excited to provide our students with meaningful opportunities to learn, reflect, and engage with our shared history. Throughout the year, students will participate in lessons, have options for projects, and be able to attend community events that honor our past, highlight our present, and inspire our future.
We encourage families to stay connected so you don’t miss key moments! To participate in the spirit, be sure to visit this apparel shop and check out the 175th anniversary gear. Together, we look forward to a year of learning, pride, and shared celebration.
