- 6-8 Big Ideas from Cengage
- 9-12 Big Ideas from Cengage
The proposed math curriculum is available for public review through May 17. Find details on the district website under Curriculum Adoption. Feedback from the public review will be shared before the School Board takes action on adopting a new curriculum.
Highlighting Our STEM Innovation Lab Program
Our elementary innovation facilitators -- seven teachers dedicated to our elementary schools -- shared highlights of our district's celebrated Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Lab program with the School Board. They provided an overview of how the program has grown since its inception in 2019 and its impact on all students in our district. The 2017 bond measure funded lab spaces and equipment, and the current local option levy funds teaching positions.
Lake Monsters Robotics Team Goes to WORLDS
The Lake Monsters Robotics team, composed of about 35 students from Lakeridge and Lake Oswego High Schools, had an incredible 2022-23 FIRST Robotics Competition season! Led by team captain Megan Tian, the Lake Monsters won the 2023 Engineering Inspiration Award at regionals, which qualified the team to compete with their robot at the 2023 FIRST Robotics World competition in Houston from April 18-23. While the team has won many awards in past seasons, this is the first time in eight years the team has been to Worlds! The team, their mentors, and parent chaperones enjoyed meeting and competing with more than 500 FIRST Robotics teams worldwide. Join us in congratulating Lake Monsters on the outstanding achievement!
Kindergarten Registration Deadline Today
Register your student for kindergarten for the 2022-23 school year by TODAY, Friday, Apr. 28. If kindergarten enrollment requires a lottery due to over-capacity at any school, incoming kindergarten students must be registered by April 28, 2023, to be included in the tiered priority process. Please click here for Kindergarten lottery details.
Time to Verify Your Student's Information
It’s time to verify your student's information in our system!
Are you wondering if your information is complete? Maybe not. For example, 86 students have emergency contacts listed without any phone numbers. It would be hard to reach them. This is just one example of the kind of information guardians need to update in the system.
Log into ParentVUE and review/update your students' information through the Register/Verify tab. If you have forgotten your ParentVUE password, go to the login page, click "I am a Parent," then click "Forgot Password." If you are unsure whether you have a ParentVUE account, contact your student's school. For assistance with the verification process, refer to the user guide on the LOSD website or contact your student's school.
