The Weekly Hoot

What a fantastic week it has been leading up to spring break.

The One School, One Book program has come to an end. Thank you to all of the families that were able to join us Wednesday evening to celebrate "The Trumpet of the Swan." It is a wonderful book that encourages us to look within and see how brave and kind we can be to overcome our own obstacles and how to help those around us. We truly enjoyed sharing this experience with you, your children, and the community.

Next week is spring break. I hope you are able to enjoy the change in schedule for you and your lovely children.

Miss Kimberly 🌺

Happy vacation- we are all away from school next week and recharging our batteries for what always turns out to be that quick, final push to the end of the school year. This week, the ConVal School Board decided that the last day of school will be a half-day on Friday, June 19th. Dismissal will be at 12:00, after our usual end-of-year celebration.

Ticks are here! Please take whatever measures are best to protect your children. We don't use any spray/repellents at school with children so kindly do all of that before they come to school. If your child has an embedded tick, Nurse Turgeon will contact you. If the little bug is just crawling around looking for a sweet spot to dig in, we dispose of them but won't call you.

Art's Creative Corner

Our TES artists have been growing a garden of creativity this week. They made flowers, vegetables, bugs, birds, and many horticultural tools to add to our parade theme. We are excited to gather together as a district community and celebrate the rts in Peterborough on May 16th. Please see https://www.childrenandthearts.org/2026-festival-info for more information about this amazing day!

Thank you,
