Lubbock ISD App & Rooms

Lubbock ISD has launched a two-way messaging and communication feature within the LISD app called Rooms. Rooms allows parents to access important information about the happenings in our district, on our campus, and in your child's classroom. Please follow the steps below to get signed up for Rooms.

1. Download the latest Lubbock ISD app. Make sure it is the one that matches the picture shown here.

2. If you are new to the app, click on the Menu button on the bottom. Select Miller and any other schools you would like to follow and click the + sign to add them to your organizations.

3. On the bottom right, click on Rooms and use your cell phone number to sign up for Rooms. Step by step instructions can be found HERE.

All Pro Dad--September 20th!

Miller Owls are WISE

Our Miller Owls have spent the first days of school learning and reviewing our WISE Expectations. We teach students about what it looks like and sounds like to be WISE in all areas of school including the classrooms, the hallways, and the cafeteria. Students who are seen demonstrating WISE expectations earn "badge signs," WISE tickets, and Hoot Yeah calls home! When a student fills up his/her WISE badge, they get to visit the WISE Prize Cart. The WISE Prize Cart is open every two weeks! Ask your Owl if they can tell you what it means to be WISE! 🦉🦉🦉

Student Absences

When your child is going to be absent from school, please call the front office at (806) 219-8100 to let us know. If you take your child to a doctor's appointment, please provide us with a doctor's note at your earliest convenience. Thank you!

Lubbock ISD Attendance Policies & Procedures

Please Use Caution!

We strive to make our arrival and dismissal process as smooth as possible so we can keep our 670 Miller Owls safe! Please keep the following in mind:

Please stay off your cell phones! Cell phone use is ALWAYS illegal in a school zone!
The drive-thru lane is for drop-off ONLY. Please do not exit your vehicle during arrival or dismissal.
Please SLOW DOWN and respect our crosswalk volunteers!
Join our OWL GUARD to help with the crosswalks during arrival! This is a wonderful way to help keep our Miller Owls safe and it takes less than 30 minutes of your day!

Join Miller PTA Today!

Be sure to join our PTA for the 24-25 school year! Your PTA membership helps support our students and staff and gives you opportunities to get involved as much or as little as you want! You AND your student can join!
