Dear Pomerado Families,
I wanted to send a quick reminder about parking lot safety during drop-off and pick-up. Keeping our students safe is a shared responsibility, and we need everyone's help to make sure our parking lot and surrounding areas are safe for all of our Wildcats.
Please remember to:
Follow the designated traffic flow. All vehicles should enter through the roundabout and exit by the Walker Gate.
Use the front parking lot only if you have a designated parking pass. This lot is reserved for families who have been issued a special parking pass.
Drive slowly and stay alert for students and families walking through the parking lot.
Use designated drop-off and pick-up areas and avoid stopping in areas that block traffic or create unsafe situations.
Follow the directions of our Safety Patrol officers. They are there to help keep our students safe and traffic moving smoothly.
I also want to remind everyone how important it is to be respectful and courteous to our Safety Patrol students. These students are learning leadership and responsibility, and they are volunteering their time to help our school community. Please model patience and kindness when interacting with them, even when traffic is busy or frustrating.
Thank you for partnering with us to keep Pomerado safe. A little patience, courtesy, and attention go a long way in protecting our students and setting a positive example for them.

Parent/Guardian Feedback Survey
This Friday, the District will be launching its ThoughtExchange Fall Survey for staff and families. This is a critical component in the implementation of our World-Class Service and Community Engagement frameworks.
Please see the following Google Doc for templated messaging and social media posts to encourage your school communities to participate. The survey will remain open until October 16, 2026.
Your awareness and cooperation are greatly appreciated. Results will be reviewed at our Operational Leadership meeting in October, then shared publicly at the November 5 board meeting.

Support our 5th graders and take a night off from cooking! Join us for a fun community evening at Best Pizza and Brew.
