ALL Band Families: It is CONCERT WEEK!! Please make sure you know all the details pertaining to your musician's concert! See below for details.

Our fundraiser is in full swing and we had a great 1st week. Our goal is that every student can contribute in some way. If you do not want to sell items we also accept donations of any size.

Advanced Band - Please note the following:

• 10/9: AB Concert @ FHS (
• 10/9: Future FHS Band parents have a brief meeting in the FHS Orchestra room at 6pm.
• 10/10: Band Movie Party @SMS
• 10/18: MHS Combined Night

• Symphonic Band members should CHOOSE 1 of the 2 options offered this week.

Last week, all students were given a fundraiser packet and information to bring home.

• All money should be collected at the time of the sale and all orders/money should be brought to school ON October 16th.
• Our goal is for EVERY student to contribute in some way by either selling or acquiring donations of any size. There are prizes for to the top selling individual and class!

CONCESSION STAND HELP

We need help with filling our concession stand with volunteers on our assigned nights! This is a big fundraiser for us and we cannot run it without volunteers!

We still need volunteers for the following dates and times

• 10/16 - All shifts
• 10/21 - 4:30pm-6:30pm, 6:30pm-8:30pm
• 10/28 - 6:30pm-8:30pm

We love rewarding our students and are asking for your help! With Halloween around the corner, candy is all around us!

• For every bag of miniature candy, we will give 5 bonus stickers to your student. No limit to the number of bags of candy!

• Lessons play a vital role in the individual students success in band! Lesson are for the students who might be a little behind, and even for those who are excelling and would like an added enriching challenge.

• To enroll in lessons please send Ms. Hoffman an email at 'hoffmans@friscoisd.org' expressing your interest. Please also include your student's name and instrument.
