I am your school counselor, Dr. Zimmerman. I have been a proud Park Street Panther for over 20 years., and I enjoy helping students be successful in school and helping parents model behaviors for their children. I offer services through classroom counseling lessons, group counseling, and individual counseling. I can also refer students to services outside of the school setting via our school social workers and counseling agencies. Feel free to contact me if I can help in any of these areas.

Park Street’s Career Day 2026

Friday, March 20th

9:00am-11:30am

(Continental Breakfast Provided for Speakers)

We need you to volunteer as a Career Day Guest Speaker

We are looking for any parent volunteers or community members who can volunteer their time to share their career choices with students in grades K-5. Guest speakers will be asked to speak to students for 20 minutes sessions. K-2 students will be outside with career vehicles (fire engine, police car, etc.), and 3-5 will be inside with presenters rotating between classes. Recommended format includes related school subjects, education, training, personal skills, typical day, child friendly games and presentations, hands on activities or visuals, etc.

Please complete the following form and return it to your child’s homeroom teacher by Monday, March 9, 2026. Please provide contact information so we can send you a confirmation regarding the schedule and format suggestions for your presentation. We are collecting clean gently used uniforms. If you have any to donate, please bring them to the front office. We are also asking parents of kindergarten and first grade student to please send your child with a change of clothing in their backpacks daily. Please place the uniform in a gallon-sized zip lock bag with your child's name on it.
