To ensure a smooth transition, Educational Technology has developed the Adobe E-Sign Beginner Training with virtual sessions through July 2026.
Access the Adobe E-Sign Resources Page for links to virtual trainings and step by step guides on navigating Adobe E-Sign, FAQs and more.
The Educational Technology division has identified the Top Technology Issues submitted through ServiceNow that affect Dallas ISD students, teachers, and staff. We have created the Helpful Tips page which will provide resources to address those issues.

Information Security
Security 26 - 27 School Year Weekly Administrative Information Packet (WAIP)
Netskope For Central Staff: Protecting You From Internet Threats!
On July 9, IT deployed the Netskope security client to all central staff computers to protect district data and enable the safe adoption of emerging AI tools. Operating seamlessly in the background, this update acts as a safety shield to defend against malware and cyber threats.
If a work-related site is mistakenly filtered, please submit an IT ticket or contact Security Architect, Sean Sheridan at sesheridan@dallasisd.org.
MFA Codes are Secret
Protect Your Account: Never Share Your MFA Codes!
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of safety to lock attackers out of your Dallas ISD account. However, this security only works if you keep your login codes secret. Cybercriminals often send fake texts or make urgent phone calls, pretending to be tech support, just to trick you into giving them your one-time code.
Remember, Dallas ISD IT will never ask you for your security code—keep it to yourself and stay safe!
SPAM and Impersonations Emails
The district has observed an increased in spam and impersonation emails. When you're checking your email, keep the following guidance top of mind:
- Beware of Phishing Scams: Always verify the sender’s email and identity. Confirm they are part of Dallas ISD or an expected vendor, especially before taking action.
- Watch for Gift Card Scams: Be cautious of unsolicited messages requesting donations or gift cards—especially those impersonating school leadership.
- Use Trusted Channels: Only share district, personal, or financial information through secure, verified sites and communication methods.
- Report Suspicious Activity: Forward any suspicious or spam emails via a ServiceNow Support Ticket or contact the Dallas ISD IT Help Desk.
Look for key red flags such as external sender domains and caution banners, as shown in this example below:
Vishing Attacks - Be Aware!
Ransomware attackers are now using Microsoft Teams to "vishing" (voice phish) users. They impersonate trusted sources like coworkers or IT support to trick you into giving them access or installing malware and ransomware onto devices.
EdTech will never spontaneously call you via Teams without a ticket being opened first.
Be suspicious of any unexpected Teams calls, especially if the caller is labeled as an external or unknown contact. Do not answer the original call. Instead, reach out to the person through a known, trusted channel (like email or phone) to verify their identity.
Report any suspicious Teams activity to the Cybersecurity Team immediately.
Cybersecurity Hygiene Reminders
Refrain from using the same password for personal and work accounts.
Don't leave devices unattended. Lock your device before walking away from it.
Routinely transfer teaching curriculum to the cloud (OneDrive or Google Drive).
Shut down your computer at least once per week to ensure latest updates are installed.
Only contact DISD IT Department or Help Desk if you need any technical assistance such as passwords Contact Info: 972-925-5630 or ITServiceDesk@Dallasisd.org
