Fall 2025 Resources
📣 25-26 School Year
📅 September is Attendance Awareness Month
Here Today, Ready for Tomorrow
September marks Attendance Awareness Month, and at Campbell County Public Schools, we want to celebrate the power of showing up. When students are present, they are building habits, friendships, and skills that set them on the path for future success.
Even missing just a few days each month can add up and make it harder for students to stay on track. That’s why we’re encouraging every family to make attendance a priority.
Why Attendance Matters:
Builds strong learning foundations
Encourages positive routines and responsibility
Strengthens connections with teachers and peers
Together, families, schools, and our community can ensure that our students are here today, ready for tomorrow.
Back to School Commitment Planner

Starting a new school year can be both exciting and overwhelming. Between homework, family time, activities, and self-care, it’s easy to feel stretched too thin. The Back to School Commitment Planner is designed to help students and families map out time for academics, wellness, and fun—while avoiding burnout. Use this guide and chart to set healthy routines, make space for what matters most, and create a balanced schedule that works for your family. Click on this link to download a copy.
CCPS Virginia 10 and 4+ Miler Team
This year, Campbell County Employees will be participating in the Virginia 10 and 4+ Miler on September 27, 2025. This is the first time Campbell County Public Schools has its own team, and it is one of the largest teams in our area! Be sure to encourage your teachers and other school staff as they prepare for the race/walk and congratulate them on September 29th when they wear their race shirt.

CarePortal Launch
Exciting News! Campbell County Schools is Launching CarePortal – Connecting Needs with Community Support
We’re proud to announce the launch of CarePortal, a powerful new tool that allows our school division to connect the real-time needs of students and families with caring individuals and community partners who want to help.
From providing beds, clothing, and school supplies to offering mentorship and support during tough times, CarePortal bridges the gap between those who need help and those who can give it.
Why CarePortal?
Because when a child’s basic needs are met, they’re better equipped to learn, grow, and thrive. Together, we can strengthen families, support educators, and build a healthier, more connected community.
We invite local churches, non-profits, businesses, and individuals to join us in this mission of care and collaboration. Small acts of kindness can make a life-changing difference.
