Dress Code Expectations

School IDs are part of the student dress code. It is required that Students have their School IDs either visible on a lanyard or clip or attached to a backpack when moving around campus. Also, a School ID is required for a student to be able to purchase a lunch in the Cafeteria. School IDs are also required to be able to use a hall pass, check out a library book, or purchase items at the Financial Office or the sales windows for STUCO, DECA, FACS, and Unified Sports. Please help us by using your School ID each day at school.

Baseball hats, cowboy hats, wave caps, bandanas, stocking caps, and other headgear are not allowed as part of the daily dress code.

As it gets colder, please remember that while hoodies are okay to wear to school, the hood should not be worn in the hallways or classrooms. The hood part of the hoody covers up a student's ears and keeps a student with earbuds from being able to participate in learning. Classrooms are hoody, headgear, and earbud free zones.

It is a District Rule that cell phones are not allowed to be used during instructional time. A student should not be using a cell phone during class unless the teacher allows it as part of an instructional activity.

Advisory Time at Santa Fe

Each school day from 10:10-10:30 starting now up until spring break (except on days when there are special events/assemblies), we will have designated Advisory Time for our students.

Mondays and Fridays will be Priority Days for all Math Classes

Mondays and Fridays will be designated for Large Group/Activity Meetings (needing large spaces)

Tuesdays thru Thursdays will be designated for Academic Help in all Classes

Tuesdays thru Thursdays will be designated for Small Group/Officer Meetings (meeting in teacher classrooms and not needing a large space)

Tuesday will be a Priority Day for all English Classes

Wednesday will be a Priority Day for all Science Classes

Thursday will be a Priority Day for all Social Studies Classes

Students struggling in academic classes will need to miss their Group/Activity Meetings if they are on an Advisory List for academic reasons at that same time

Student-led Academic Tutoring by AP and NHS Students

Student-led academic tutoring will take place from 3:00-5:00pm on Wednesdays. Students may sign up for help by scanning the bar codes on the TV announcements at school or by following this link: https://forms.gle/nXvpVMnSQ35MezG26

Please sign up in advance so that we can arrange for a tutor to be available in that subject.

Culture Fair and Assembly

Did you know that there are more than 30 languages represented at Santa Fe High School? Our student diversity is what makes us strong and what brings us together.

On Friday, November 8th, students will be allowed to attend the Culture Fair in the Competition Gym as part of their Social Studies and/or World Language Class during hours 1-4. For students without social studies or world language until 5th or 6th hours, you are welcome to attend during your lunch period. Many food items representing the many diverse backgrounds and cultures of Santa Fe students will be available for purchase.

During 6th Hour, students who purchase a $5 wristband will be released from class to attend a Culture Assembly in the Competition Gym. This event will raise money for Double Wolf Dare Week and will highlight the talents of our students that represent their cultural backgrounds.

Wolf Madness (November 12)

The Girl's and Boy's Basketball Programs will host a Team Preview and Scrimmage Night on Tuesday, November 12th from 6:00-8:00pm.
