LFNJ Partners with District Leaders to Discuss Professional Learning & Belonging
In July, district leaders from across the state came together for a powerful convening focused on advancing professional learning and strengthening a sense of belonging in our school communities. The event brought together instructional leaders, central office teams, and school-based administrators to share promising practices, engage in honest dialogue, and build collaborative relationships.
Through a series of structured conversations, participants explored whatâs working in professional learning, the barriers they continue to face, and the organizational shifts needed to center people over systems. Discussions lifted up innovative strategies for sustaining adult learning, cultivating trust, and ensuring that all educators feel seen, heard, and valued in their work.
The energy in the room reflected the collective commitment to building more equitable and connected learning environmentsânot just for students, but for the adults who lead them. Many participants noted how valuable it was to step away from day-to-day demands and reflect with colleagues on the deeper purpose of their leadership.
Weâre grateful to all who attended and contributed to the success of the day. Your voices are essential to shaping the future of professional learning in our state.
