Halloween Safety Information
๐๐ป Halloween Safety Tips for Our EEE Families! ๐ฌ๐งก
Halloween is full of excitement, costumes, and sweet treats! As our little Yellowjackets head out for trick-or-treating, here are a few reminders to help keep everyone safe!
๐ธ Stay Together! Young children should always trick-or-treat with a trusted adult. Remind children to stay close and never enter a stranger's home or vehicle.
๐ฆ Be Seen! Carry flashlights or glow sticks, and add reflective tape to costumes or treat bags so drivers can easily see your little ghosts and goblins.
๐ฆ Look Both Ways! Use sidewalks and crosswalks whenever possible. Always stop, look left, right, and left again before crossing the street.
๐ญ Choose Safe Costumes! Make sure costumes fit properly to prevent trips and falls. Face paint is often safer than masks that can block vision.
๐ฌ Check Those Treats! Have an adult inspect candy before eating. Avoid treats with damaged or opened wrappers and watch for choking hazards.
๐ก Visit Well-Lit Homes! Stick to familiar neighborhoods and homes with porch lights on.
๐ Practice Kindness! Remember to say "please" and "thank you," take turns, and be respectful of others while collecting treats!
๐ From our EEE family to yours, we wish you a FUN, SWEET, and SAFE Halloween!
๐ Empower. Encourage. Excel.
