A Message from Mrs. Donadio on Behalf of the Health Start Clinic
Team KRS,
As we head into Thanksgiving week, I need to extend both my personal thanks, as well as enormous thanks on behalf of the Health Start Clinic. There has never been a doubt in my mind that KRS is a magical community but this year - more than ever, the magic of the Kings Road community came out to help us exceed our goals in ways I never thought possible.
Because of the huge outpouring of KRS generosity last year, our goal to feed 200 families skyrocketed to exceed expectations and we put together 275 meals. This year, our goal was to feed 300 families and we not only were able to once again exceed expectations and pack an astounding 347 bags this weekend, but we also have so much surplus food leftover that we agreed with the clinic that we would do another round of bags for Christmas the week of December 10.
There is truly no place like KRS and that is all thanks to the staff, students and parents that care so deeply not only for each other in our immediate community, but for all those that surround us.
The Season of Giving - Thank you to the students and KRS families!
