MANDATORY ASSEMBLY AUGUST 18 and 19
Assembly Schedule on Mandatory Assembly Days
Dear CP Families,
We will be running an assembly schedule for all students on Tuesday, August 18th, and Wednesday, August 19th, in order to allow our students to participate in our annual mandatory non-discrimination and anti-bullying training, as well as hear some important school information (i.e. dress code requirements, cell phone use at school, and closed campus policies). This is information we are required to share with students at the start of every year. The assembly will be given by CP administration and will take place in the new CP gym (see schedule below).
Again, this is a mandatory assembly, but students may choose one of three sessions to attend (meaning PPSC-only students and/or those students with only a CP class or two can choose the session that works best for their schedules). Note that part-time students are also required to participate. The schedule will be the same on Tuesday and Wednesday, with students returning to a normal schedule on Thursday and Friday. If your student doesn't have class until a little later in the day, please choose an assembly time to attend AND note that class start/end times are slightly different for these first two days of school. If your student cannot attend any of the assemblies, please contact Stef Hille directly via email at shille@tcatitans.org (do not reply to this communication) so that an alternative plan can be discussed.
- If here for the morning assembly time on Tuesday or Wednesday, students should go directly to their first period to drop off backpacks and take attendance; teachers will then release students to the gym. NOTE: If students have 1st period classes on both Tuesday and Wednesday, they may choose to attend just one assembly and then arrive at school on the other day for the start of 1st period at 8:45 AM (according to the assembly schedule). Their attendance will not be impacted.
- Student schedules are currently available in Infinite Campus (so students know where to go for their first period). Please have your student view/print his/her schedule from IC as this schedule should include room numbers. (Printing schedules from IC will mean room numbers are included on the schedule; printing the confirmation schedule that you received from Mr. Haist upon enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year will not have room numbers included with it.)
- If attending the afternoon assembly (for PPSC students or students who don't have a class first thing Tuesday or Wednesday morning), that session will be on Tuesday, August 18th, 12:45-1:30 PM, in the gym. Attendance will be taken. Students should go directly to the new gym upon arrival on campus.
- Students should NOT miss class to attend an assembly. If no assembly time works for your schedule, please let Stef Hille know so other arrangements can be made (shille@tcatitans.org).
- See below for some additional FAQs. Please keep in mind that we are simply trying to catch as many students as possible with these three assembly times. We know that this schedule won't work for everyone, and that's okay!
- If you have any other questions or concerns, please contact one of the CP administrators (again, do not reply to this email).
Sincerely,
Justin Peterson

Assembly Schedule for Tuesday, August 18th, and Wednesday, August 19th, 2026
Additional FAQ's
Yes. All students who need a study hall for immediately after the assembly will have study hall in the gym with adult supervision. A study skills lesson plan will be provided. If your student needs to be in a study hall for both 1st and 2nd period after the assembly, that will also be provided. Parents may also pick these students up at the front of the school at 8:45 and bring them back for the start of their first actual class of the day. Parents may also choose to simply drop their student(s) off whenever their first class starts (note different start/end times for all classes on August 18th and 19th!) and communicate with administration about an alternative plan for the assembly material.
My student plans to attend the Tuesday afternoon assembly, but transportation won't be available until later in the day. Can my student sign into a study hall after Tuesday afternoon's assembly until his/her ride is able to get to school?
Yes. Please have your student go to the CP office after the Tuesday afternoon assembly, and he/she will be assigned a study hall room. Note that your student will need to be signed out if being picked up in the middle of a class period. A student does not need to sign out if being picked up during passing period.
My student cannot attend any of the assemblies due to scheduling/transportation conflicts. What are our alternatives?
Please email Stef Hille (shille@tcatitans.org) if this scenario applies to your student.
