- Report cards will be posted in the the Aspen Family portal on Friday, June 20th
- Suggested school supply list for next year will be coming out shortly by grade level. Please know that these supplies are optional. If you are unable to provide any of the listed items, the school will ensure that your child has everything they need to be successful.
- Bus applications are due. Please remember they need to be completed annually to ensure your child has a bus for next year. There is a button below to complete the form online.
- The Juneteenth Holiday is observed on June 19-No school on Thursday.
- Our last day of school is June 20th which will be a half day of school for students with dismissal at 11:50AM
- Students in Grades 4 and K held the math carnival this past week. They had so much fun teaming up with their big buddies and playing math games together.
- The 5th Grade visit to Chapman this past Friday went well.
- Thank you to our Parent Council for all of their amazing work and support this year!
- Thank you to Ms. Linda Nolan, who after 36 years is retiring! We will miss you!
In reflection, it is truly amazing to see how much a child can grow in the course of a year. On behalf of the Academy staff, it is our pleasure and honor to be able to partner with our families and community to make the great learning and opportunities happen every day for the students at Academy...it truly takes a village and I am grateful for all the support and accomplishments our school has made this past year. Thank you for all of your support.
Mr. Higgins
PS-Happy Father's Day to all those amazing dads, step-dads, grandfathers, uncles!

Playground Expectations
As the weather continues to improve, we are so excited to see our families using the playground after school. Consistency is so important for our students that we find it important to share with you our playground expectations that we provide to the students during the school day.
We hope this carries over to after school and beyond:
Everyone plays – Every game is open to whoever wants to play as long as those playing are being safe, respectful and responsible during the game. Including others are expected behaviors.
Play safe – Students must play so that they and others are not physically or emotionally hurt. Students must avoid rough play, unsafe play, and name-calling. Examples of unsafe play include jumping from the top of the play structure or sliding into someone still on or near the end of the slide
Be Respectful- Students will listen and follow directions. They will be kind and provide other students an opportunity to use the play structure. Keep hands and feet to themselves.
As always, please stay off the island in the driveway as buses and cars may be in use around the driveway circle. Thank you!
