Important End of Year Information!

Kindergarten Enrollment

Monday, May 18 between 8:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Tuesday, May 19 between 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Please bring a copies of:

Child's birth certificate
Current immunization records
Proof of residency (utility bill, lease agreement, etc...)

Children must be 5 years old on or before July 31st, 2020 to be eligible.

Summer School

Registration for Reeds Spring Summer School began the week of May 11. Classes will start on Monday, June 8, and end on Tuesday, June 30. Bus service will be provided from central locations and free breakfast and lunch are available to all school-age children.

Classes for Middle School and High School students will be held entirely online, except for Physical Education. Classes for grades 1-6 can be taken either online or at school. Kindergarten will only be offered at school.

In an effort to keep everyone safe and healthy, the district will reduce class sizes. We will also continue to vigorously clean our buildings and buses, and we will follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's recommendations for schools.

Food Distribution Update

The Reeds Spring School District will continue its food distribution program through Friday, May 22. We will then take a two-week break so our food service workers can prepare for Summer School.

Starting on Monday, June 8, our drive-through food service will resume but will be located at the Primary School. This service will be available to any school-age children. K-6 students who are enrolled in Summer School will receive free breakfast and lunch inside the building. We will share more details about the drive-through service before June 8.

Device Return

Students who are not taking virtual summer school courses need to return their laptops. All iPads need to be returned so they can receive updates, even if the student is taking virtual summer school.

The following dates and times are for grades K-8.

Wednesday, May 20: 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 5:00-6:30 p.m.

Thursday, May 21: 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 5:00-6:30 p.m.

Grades K-6 will have drive-through lines to collect the devices. Please make sure that you also return cords, plugs, and chargers. Select the image above for more information and district wide device return information.
