Hello Bulldog Families.

It’s always a challenge getting back into a routine but by Friday, BHS students were ready to push through the final weeks of the 2025-2026 school year!

In a typical high school, April and May involves quite a bit of testing, and BHS is no exception. Please reference the “take note” section below to notice the delayed start days for students NOT required to take the particular end-of-course assessments. BHS will be operating on a regular schedule throughout the remainder of state testing. The only four days that will be a delayed start will be April 13th-April 16th. These state assessments are attached to graduation requirements, so please encourage your students to do their best during their testing session(s).

We’re excited to continue celebrating all of the great work in which our students are involved. Throughout the next few weeks, you will see us celebrating accomplishments and achievements of our students and more importantly, our seniors!

We hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!

In service to our Bulldogs.

Hello, Families.

Spring weather at last! Hopefully, we have some better weather days through April. With that being said, I hope everyone had a nice spring break!

Students needing a parking pass should email me, or come see me in the office during their study hall or advisory.

Have a great weekend.

Joe Moorehead, Dean of Students

SchooLinks is a new online platform Batavia is utilizing this year that provides a variety of tools designed to help students explore and collect information on colleges, careers, and tracking how they are meeting their graduation requirements -, as well as developing a plan for after high school. Guardians can track their student's progress and support their journey toward post-secondary success. The attached document gives guardians directions for logging into SchooLinks and viewing their student’s account.

The FAFSA Application is still Open!!!!

  • The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for students entering or attending college for the 2026-27 academic year is up and running! Any student that is thinking about attending any type of education/training after high school should complete the FAFSA - technical school, trade school, community college, public university, or private university. The FAFSA is what determines your eligibility for student loans, grants, work-study, and scholarships - thus, it is VERY important that you complete and submit it. Keep in mind, all students are eligible for student loans! We will continue to share information and helpful resources with you and your family as we receive it!

  • The Ohio Department of Higher Education would like to share that the 2026-27 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available for all families to complete. Families who want to start filling out the FAFSA now can start the process at studentaid.gov.

  • For additional assistance with FAFSA completion, please visit itsforyou.org, and look under the “Looking for FAFSA Help?” section for more information
