Session 2: July 6–16, 2026
Time: 8:00a–12:00p

Grades 6–8: June 22–26, 2026
Time: 8:00a–12:00p
Minds in Motion Sports Camp helps elementary and middle school students build confidence, resilience, and athletic fundamentals through movement-based learning and mindful sport practices. Campers develop skills in teamwork, focus, emotional regulation, and goal-setting while exploring a variety of sports and interactive activities that encourage both physical and mental growth. Through age-appropriate drills, guided reflection, and strategies for staying calm and confident under pressure, students learn tools they can carry into athletics, academics, and everyday life. The camp promotes a supportive, encouraging environment where young athletes strengthen both body and mind.

Sign up for one session, or both!
Session 1: June 15–19, 2026
Session 2: July 6–10, 2026

Science Explorers invites students entering grades 6–8 to dive into the exciting world of science through hands-on experiments, creative challenges, and real-world exploration. Each summer, campers become scientists for the week, asking questions, testing ideas, and discovering how science connects to everyday life. With full access to Calumet College of St. Joseph’s labs and resources, participants work together on fun, interactive projects designed to spark curiosity and build confidence. Every year features a new theme, so returning campers can look forward to fresh discoveries and new adventures.

Students will work through a variety of STEM activities such as calculating their own field goal percentage, recognizing the differences in energy and motion between a youth football and a foam football, learning how active play correlates to burning calories, and discovering the technology behind optimal tennis serving speed. These camp activities will also align with the Indiana DOE Science and Engineering Process Standards (SEPS) and the Academic Standards for Health & Wellness for grades 6 through 8.
Tekton Media Camp (Grades 7–10)
June 22–26, 2026
Time: 9:00a–1:00p
Participants will learn the basics of storytelling from professors and professionals in the film and media industries, using Mac production labs on campus. Students will study the origins of the “hero’s journey,” a storytelling archetype found in ancient myth and modern movies including the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They will learn storytelling, image making, and design with Adobe Photoshop, essential graphic design principles, and application-specific skills in order to design their own “Hero Poster,” celebrating a character of “substance and light.”
Summer Theatre (Grades 7–12)
June 22–26, 2026
Time: 1:30p–6:30p
Summer Theatre provides an opportunity for 7th-12th graders to explore famous characters and plays with trained theatre educators. This one-week camp will focus on theatre games, acting, rehearsal, theatrical production, and a showcase for family and friends on Friday night. Campers will get some hands-on experience with trained volunteers. No prior theatre experience is needed. Summer Theatre is the perfect summer camp to enhance public speaking skills, build confidence, make new friends, and have a whole lot of fun!
