Message From Mr. Faehndrich
Principal of Dwight D. Eisenhower Middle School
As we move further into spring, there is a renewed sense of energy throughout our school. As soon as we get through this unseasonably cold weather, warmer and longer days remind us the final stretch of the school year is upon us. I hope students bring the characteristic excitement of this time of year, and stay focused on learning and growth.
This time of year also holds special meaning for many in our community. We extend warm wishes to those celebrating Passover and Easter. Both holidays carry themes of renewal and hope, values that align closely with what we strive to foster in our students. We encourage our students to stay engaged, continue putting forth their best effort, and support one another. There is still much to accomplish, and we are proud of the progress our students have made so far.
Thank you, as always, for your continued partnership and support. Wishing all of our families a wonderful spring season.
Last Weeks Survey Results...our students are more prepared to take on 100 duck-sized horses than one horse-sized duck. We admire the confidence!

Take your time, stay focused, and give your best effort. Your hard work can pay off in a big way for your entire team. We’re excited to see all the progress you’ve made!

A big bravo to our 7th-grade Italian students who shared their delicious treats for the Piazza Projects! The event was a wonderful opportunity for the EMS community to come together, and students eagerly sampled a variety of foods representing different regions of Italy. A Note from the School Nurse: Staying Healthy
With the changing seasons, we are seeing a rise in common germs and viruses. To keep our students healthy, happy, and in the classroom, we ask for your help in reinforcing these simple but effective habits:
Wash Hands Often: Encourage students to wash their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially before eating and after coughing or sneezing.
Cover Your Coughs and Sneezes: Use a tissue or the inside of the elbow to prevent germs from spreading through the air.
Avoid Touching Eyes, Nose, and Mouth: This is the easiest way for germs to enter the body!
Stay Home When Sick: If your child has a fever, persistent cough, or is feeling unwell, please keep them home until they are symptom-free (and fever-free without medication) for 24 hours.
By working together, we can keep our school a healthy place for everyone to learn!
