All of the music classes continues to be a delight! The Guitar class learned five new songs as well as adding the f#m and A chords to their skill set. The 7th grade Vocal Power classes are practicing scooping the pitch, syncopating, and adding nonsense syllables to sing in a Jazz style. Mastering stylistically appropriate articulation is a Learning Standards for the class. The 8th Grade Vocal Power is harmonizing, maintaining their intonation and blending their voices. The Music 6 class has continued the study of Melody playing soprano recorders, boomwhackers, and bell sets, as well as singing and notating songs.
