Dear IG Families:

Spring is in the air, and playground injuries are on the rise. It is such a relief to get outside more regularly to play, but this week seemed to be marked by several good old fashioned playground accidents. No one is at fault, but I sympathize with all of you who are getting the call to learn about a bonked head or an injured arm. We are in good hands with Nurse Izzo, thankfully. We hope that all students will wear sneakers for playground use each day.

I am leaving the sign-up for our Secondhand FreeMarket again this week. We are hoping for a great turn-out, which means we are relying on your support. Please consider signing up for a shift on Friday 5/19 or during the event Saturday 5/20. Pizza is generously being donated on Friday evening, and volunteers are also welcome to swap during this "Preview Night": Sign Up Here

Sincerely,

Lucas Hiley. Ed.D.

Instead of pictures this week, we are sharing a video of today's Community Circle. It was a special one that was put on by our reading teachers, math teachers, and a couple of other special guests. It was a fun way to start the day!
