Kelly O'Neill | Community Schools Coordinator

"The Learning Collaborative Institute has been an important partner in providing data support for the Mammoth High School Community Classroom project. Through implementation of the High School Exit Survey, we gained valuable insight into our graduates’ postsecondary plans and their experiences navigating applications and planning for life after high school. We plan to continue using this Survey annually to build a longitudinal understanding of graduate outcomes and to inform ongoing program improvement."

"I can't even begin to describe how grateful I am for the partnership with [the Learning Collaborative Institute] for our needs and assets assessment. Mike and Stephanie came in as partners to me, inspiring me to pursue learning more about data literacy, and making a positive lasting effect on our program activities in the last year. Thank you."

Mario Portillo's LCI Story: "How LCI Transformed My Education Journey"

"Through LCI’s partnership with my school district, I was able to take college-level courses in high school, which prepared me for my post–high school path and eventual admission to Stanford University. Because of the impact LCI had on my academic journey, I returned to join the LCI team to help provide other students with the same opportunities."

National Network of Rural Learning Collaboratives National Network of Rural Learning Collaboratives

We are excited to announce the launch of LCI's National Network of Rural Learning Collaboratives, with a generous multi-year grant from ECMC Foundation. This initiative brings together rural educators and their workforce and community partners from across the country in shared spaces to exchange learnings and effective practices, problem solve together, and share ideas, insights, knowledge, and resources to advance rural education and workforce outcomes.

Collaborators in LCI's National Network of RLCs bring forward their lived experiences, challenges, and learnings from diverse rural regions and contexts to grow and learn alongside those who are rooted in shared journeys. Elevated conversations and peer learning exchanges result in improved practices and generate data for policy advocacy.

The response has been overwhelmingly receptive — so much so that we currently have a national waitlist of schools and partners eager to join. As we grow thoughtfully and sustainably, we look forward to welcoming new Partners and continuing to strengthen a vibrant, collaborative culture, grounded in shared learning and collaborative impact.

2026 Data Topical Trainings 2026 Data Topical Trainings

After a successful launch of our Topical Training about Collecting and Using Survey Data, with 50 registrants, we look forward to four new topical trainings in 2026. Reach out to attend one of our future Topical Trainings to learn about best practices and engage with peers:

  1. Collecting and Using Focus Group Data
  2. Learner and Community Engagement in Assets-Based Data Collection
  3. Collecting and Using Observation Data
  4. Reporting and Sharing Data for Collective Action

Partnering with You Partnering with You

We help education and workforce Partners to build more equitable systems for all people by strengthening their capacity to use data in collaborative settings to advance learner and community outcomes. Each of our Partners has been able to positively impact their learners and their communities by implementing the data use and collaborative engagement practices they have gained through LCI's coaching, training, and peer learning opportunities.

We Lead with Gratitude We Lead with Gratitude

We extend our deepest gratitude to our funders, including ECMC Foundation, Wayfarer Foundation, and the private donors who support the deeply impactful and sustainable work we do on behalf of and together with learners and their families. We also thank every education Partner, workforce leader, student, caregiver, and community member engaged in our LC Collaboratives across the nation, for welcoming us and trusting us to engage in this transformative work together. Together, we are creating a future where effective collaboration drives equitable social impact for all.
Thank you from the LCI Team! Smiling and energetic Images of LCI Team in action.
