MHS Seniors Class of 2027

Welcome, Miamisburg High School Class of 2027 seniors and families!

We are excited to celebrate this memorable year with you. This Senior Information page is your one-stop resource for everything you need throughout the school year, including important dates, graduation information, senior activities, cap and gown details, scholarships, and more.

Be sure to check back often, as new information will be added throughout the year. On behalf of Principal Michael Black and the entire MHS staff, welcome to your senior year—we can't wait to celebrate all that the Class of 2027 will accomplish!

The yearbook is accepting senior recognition orders through December 1. Space is limited and

orders received after this deadline may not be accepted.

Cost: Quarter-page ads are $75, cash or check payable to MHS Yearbook.

Pictures: Up to three pictures may be included with your special message. Please do not send scanned pictures as originals will need to be scanned by the yearbook staff. Pictures may also be emailed as digital attachments to Mrs. Houtz-Gillman at houtzgillman@goburg.org.

Please put your son/daughter’s name and senior recognition ad in the subject line.

If you would like your pictures to be returned, you must enclose a self-addressed, stamped

envelope. Please fill out the form and mail it in with your photos, message, and payment.

Please see the sample below for ideas. If you choose to email your form, message, and pictures,

please drop your payment off at MHS in the main office in an envelope marked for the yearbook

or have your child drop it off in room 304.

Leave Your Mark on MHS!

Seniors, here’s your chance to leave your mark on MHS! Paint your handprint on the wall by the Commons and create a lasting legacy you can come back and see for years to come.

Cost: $1
All proceeds support the MHS Visual Arts Scholarship.

Add your handprint during one of the painting dates below. If you miss your designated day, see Ms. Newton in Room 307 to arrange another time.

Seniors, check out the Post Secondary Guide (SchooLinks) and the Common App Tip Sheet. These are located on the Counseling website and in your 2027 Google Classroom.

Any senior who wishes to be included in the 2027 Yearbook and the Senior Composite must have their senior portrait taken through Easterling Studios.

All senior headshots must be completed by December 1, 2026. The cost is $53.75 (including tax).

To schedule your appointment, please contact Easterling Studios at 937-222-8410 as soon as possible.

Students who are pursuing an Honors Diploma are responsible for reviewing the requirements and ensuring that all criteria are met. Students that have any questions or are uncertain about their current status, please contact their counselor for clarification and guidance.

Academic Honors Diploma Criteria

Seniors have the opportunity to earn the following academic cords to wear during the graduation ceremony.

• magna cum laude
• cum laude
• Honors Diploma
• National Honor Society
• Blood Donation
