Financial Literacy at MTES
Miami Trace is partnering with the Atomic Credit Union to introduce in-school financial services to students! This is a new initiative at MTES, and some of our 5th grade students will have the opportunity to develop interpersonal skills through banking "jobs." ACU will be in our cafeteria each Friday during student arrival. All students in grades KG through 5th grade can open an account and make deposits, establishing savings for the future!
Partners for Pantries!
As we have highlighted in previous newlsetters, our Panther Care Pantries have been such a tremendous addition to our schools. At MTES, Amatha Farrens and Danielle Seymour (Parent Volunteers) helped to create a system, while providing financial support through community partnerships during the '22-'23 school year. This year, these partnerships have been solidified, and the physical space for the pantry has become a fully-functional area. Kathy Woodrow, paraprofessional, oversees the Panther Care Pantry at MTES, and has done a tremendous job in maintaining a system that assists students in getting what they need on an immediate basis. Our newest financial partners include our local Wal-Mart and Rack Room Shoes. These businesses together have provided us with over $10,000 in support during this school year alone! In addition, we continue to appreciate our long-time donors and their generosity! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Veterans Day at MTES!

There will be 2 assemblies, both held in the gymnasium:
