November marks the beginning of our second trimester! With our first trimester officially ending on October 30, we want to take a moment to celebrate the hard work, growth, and accomplishments of our students over the past few months.

As we enter this new trimester, we look forward to building on the progress our students have made and continuing to provide meaningful learning experiences that help them grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

November is also a time for gratitude, and we are especially thankful for our dedicated staff, hardworking students, and supportive families. Your continued partnership makes Maie Ellis such a special place to learn and grow.

We look forward to another wonderful trimester together!

¡Noviembre marca el inicio de nuestro segundo trimestre! Con el primer trimestre oficialmente finalizado el 30 de octubre, queremos tomarnos un momento para celebrar el esfuerzo, el crecimiento y los logros de nuestros estudiantes durante los últimos meses.

Al comenzar este nuevo trimestre, esperamos seguir construyendo sobre el progreso que nuestros estudiantes han logrado y continuar brindándoles experiencias de aprendizaje significativas que les permitan crecer académica, social y emocionalmente.

Noviembre también es un mes para expresar nuestra gratitud, y estamos especialmente agradecidos con nuestro dedicado personal, nuestros estudiantes trabajadores y nuestras familias por su constante apoyo. Su colaboración y compromiso hacen de Maie Ellis un lugar tan especial para aprender y crecer.

¡Esperamos compartir juntos otro maravilloso trimestre!

Regular attendance and being at school on time every day, is a key factor in a student’s success in school. Regular attendance also includes arriving to school on time and limiting early pick up. However, your child if presenting with illness symptoms(fever, diarrhea, sore throat, vomiting, etc.) students should stay home.

• If your child is absent from school please send a note with a parent signature or call the attendance line at 760-731-4302; state the student’s name, teacher, absence date, reason for absence, and relation to student.

La asistencia regular y llegar a la escuela a tiempo todos los días es un factor clave en el éxito de un estudiante en la escuela. La asistencia regular también incluye llegar a la escuela a tiempo y limitar la recogida temprana. Sin embargo, si su hijo presenta síntomas de enfermedad (fiebre, diarrea, dolor de garganta, vómitos, etc.), los estudiantes deben quedarse en casa.

• Si su hijo está ausente de la escuela, envíe una nota con la firma de los padres o llame a la línea de asistencia al 760-731-4220; indicar el nombre del estudiante, el maestro, la fecha de ausencia, el motivo de la ausencia y la relación con el estudiante.

Hello MEE Parents! October was a very busy but VERY fun month! From the book fair to the Fall Festival, there was a lot of excitement! We want to send out a big thank you to all of our volunteers, families and staff for all of your help and support making so many wonderful things happen for our Mustangs this month! We hope you and your families enjoyed the Fall Festival! We loved seeing the smiles on our Mustangs' faces!

¡Hola, familias de MEE! ¡Octubre fue un mes muy ocupado, pero tambíen MUY divertido! Desde la feria de libros hasta el Festival de Otoño, ¡se vivió mucha emoción! Queremos expresar nuestro más sincero agradecimiento a todos nuestros voluntarios, familias y personal por toda su ayuda y apoyo para hacer realidad tantas cosas maravillosas para nuestros Mustangs durante este mes. ¡Esperamos que ustedes y sus familias hayan disfrutado del Festival de Otoño! ¡Nos encantó ver las sonrisas en los rostros de nuestros Mustangs!
