Special Visitors: Fire Safety Week!
This week, we are thrilled to welcome our local Fire Department! They will be visiting the preschool to teach our students all about fire safety. To help ensure the children aren't scared if they ever see a firefighter during an emergency, the crew will show the students exactly what they look like while wearing all of their gear and equipment. The highlight of the visit will be getting to check out the fire truck up close! This exciting and educational visit is a wonderful opportunity for your child to learn important safety lessons in a fun, non-threatening way.
Upcoming Closures and Important Dates
Please make a note of two upcoming dates when school will be closed. We will be closed on Thursday, October 17th for a district-wide in-service day. Additionally, the school will be closed on Monday, October 20th for Fall Break. Please remember that there will be no childcare available on either of these dates. We look forward to seeing your children back after these breaks!
Spooky Fun: Join Our Annual Halloween Parade!
Get ready for some festive fun! Our annual Halloween tradition is back, and we'd love for you to join us for our Preschool Halloween Parade! The central office staff will be ready with treats as our little ones march upstairs. Parents are welcome to arrive by 10:15 a.m. for the morning session or 1:45 p.m. for the afternoon session. When you arrive, please sign in on one of the sheets located on the cafeteria tables, then line up around the gymnasium walls. Once the parade concludes, you are invited to follow your child back to their classroom to join the special holiday party. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
Our Culture Blueprint
Our Focus on Growth: Fueling Future Dreams
This month, our preschool is adopting the cultural blueprint theme: Growth Drives Dreams. We'll be focusing on the foundational idea that continually building new skills and learning helps us achieve our aspirations. In the classroom, this translates into encouraging your child to embrace challenges, try new things, and see every mistake as a chance to learn. We'll be implementing activities that promote innovation and problem-solving, encouraging the children to think creatively about how to tackle everyday challenges—a perfect start to developing the skills needed for tomorrow's challenges. We're excited to see your little ones discover their potential and lay the groundwork for a lifelong love of learning and growth!
