Hola, Panther Families,

Mesa is in full swing! We have completed our first beginning-of-the-year assessment, and lessons and learning are well underway. Students are making new friends, settling into routines, and learning what it means to show Panther Pride.

Panther Spirit Is Growing
Today, we celebrated our first pep rally of the year! The band kicked off the rally, and Mesa Cheer kept the energy going. All our teams were introduced and are getting ready for next week’s games.

Upcoming Games
Please come out and cheer on Big Green:
• Monday: Mesa Volleyball takes on Berrendo Middle School.
• Tuesday: Mesa Football plays its first scrimmage game at the Wool Bowl.

Get Involved
Please encourage your children to get involved in school activities. Participation in sports, band, choir, orchestra, Latinos in Action, Mesa Student Council, and other clubs helps students build leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence. Encourage them to grow strong, get involved, and stay focused—their future depends on it!

Synergy Platform

Synergy is the RISD new program and is where you will obtain information about your child. If you have not received an email link for Synergy, please contact the Mesa Front Office at 575-627-2800.

GO GREEN!

Mr. Hartwick's ART Class

Mr. Hartwick’s art classes had their children’s book, Swing for the Fences, on display during the 70th anniversary celebration of the 1956 Lions Hondo Little League World Series Championship. The book tells the story of the Roswell team and their championship season. Several members of the original team attended the Sunday event and signed copies of the book.

Attendance Counts

Please make every effort to ensure your child attends school each day. Every absence means missed learning time, and consistent attendance is essential for academic growth.

Attendance also supports students’ social well-being, confidence, and growth mindset. When students are present and engaged, they have more opportunities to connect with others and continue building the habits that lead to success.
