SLEDMERE CE PRIMARY SCHOOL

WEEK ENDING 18TH MARCH 2022

'Learning and growing in the love of God.' (1 John 4:16)

WELCOME BACK

We are excited to welcome you back into school for our Celebration Assembly this Friday morning.

CHURCH, GOVERNORS AND COMMUNITY

Plans are in preparation in school to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations. We are hoping to be able to share these with you in the next couple of weeks.

TT ROCKSTARS

The acquisition of knowledge is at the heart of any school. Multiplication facts are a key component of mathematical knowledge and our pupils work hard to learn these every day.

We held a special competition to see how well they can recall these facts.

Class 2 Wetwang beat Sledmere.

Class 3 Sledmere beat Wetwang.

Congratulations to all. It was great fun!

Our Year 4 children will be sitting a Multiplication Check this summer. Further information or ways you can support your child can be found here:

RED NOSE DAY

We enjoyed a day of fun whilst supporting children in the UK and further afield who may be in need of support. As ever, pupils and staff made the day memorable and it was lovely to see the children wearing whatever made them happy. Thought was also given to children in the Ukraine. Many thanks to everybody for their donations.
